Afternoons of Reading and Literature

Stefania Bertini Paint 2

Amongst the many statements made by Calvino about the classics, one fundamental comment point is: “we do not read the classics out of duty or respect, but only out of love”.

Follow your passion for literature and spend a literary afternoon with us to deepen your knowledge of the Italian language by reading an Italian author and discussing the work with an ILI School teacher.

For each meeting, there will be a text/book to be read at home. In class, we will fervently discuss the chosen book, the lexicon and the style adopted, accompanied by afternoon refreshments.

There are also meetings that will be hosted by writers plus an excursion to a publishing house, a bookstore, and to places where literature flourishes.

The course is aimed at all reading and literature enthusiasts. A minimum B2 level is recommended.

Wednesday or Friday from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
