Afternoon of Conversations

There is only one way to improve your oral skills in Italian: converse with others in Italian.

The ILI School offers you the chance to spend a few enjoyable hours together, sipping on a good Italian coffee or a cup of tea, addressing a different subject each time, so that the whole group can be immersed in conversation within the Italian context and culture.

The appointments also include lessons outside the classroom, on excursions around the city to be immersed in real communication situations and to practice the language in a pleasant environment (a café, a park overlooking a lake, the city centre, and so on).

To whom it is addressed

The course is aimed at A2, B1 and B2 candidates.

Frequency

A course of 8 afternoons of conversation.

    I liked that we also got to interact with oher classes because it allowed us to communicate more in italian as we would in the outside world. The teachers are also patient and attend to cure individual needs as students.

    Mein Name ist Mirjam. Ich komme von Winterthur, aus der Schweiz. Ich verbrachte zwei Wochen Ferien in Lugano, in der Ferienwohnung meiner Eltern. Mit der ILI Sprachschule (Intensivkurs am Morgen) habe ich eine gute Erfahrung gemacht. Ich denke, ich konnte mein Italienisch verbessern. Auch waren die beiden Lehrerinnen, die ich hatte sowie die Leute im Sekretariat sehr nett. Il mio nome è Mirjam. Vengo da Winterthur, in Svizzera. Sono stata a Lugano per due settimane di vacanza, nella casa di vacanza dei miei genitori. Con la scuola di lingua ILI (corsi intensivi della mattina), ho fatto una buona esperienza. Penso di aver potuto migliorare il mio italiano. Inoltre le due insegnanti che ho avuto e il personale della segreteria erano molto gentili.

    I arrived here 4 months ago in the beautiful city of Lugano with very little Italian and a huge mission to learn as quickly as possible for work. With the commitment and enthusiasm of the wonderful teachers at the school, it has been possible to start work as a doctor, albeit very challenging, and the guys continue to laugh at my regular mistakes but inspire me to learn and communicate in a calm and encouraging environment! What a wonderful experience with very important friendships made.
